The X Platform is undergoing a major packaging change. This change is to facilitate more agile release cycles and the ability to release X modules independently in addition to doing suite releases. The 3.14 release is the first of many releases that serve as the path to the new product packaging. | To enable a seamless migration, the 3.14 release is functionally equivalent to 3.12. Therefore, the tickets that are specific to 3.14 relate to the (1) packaging changes and (2) tickets that affect compatibility. Normally, the release notes of a release with a minor version change (such as 3.14) is comprised of tickets that are specific to the new minor release plus all tickets that were implemented in the prior minor release patch versions. However, since 3.14 is functionally equivalent to 3.12, the release notes of 3.14 is comprised only of tickets that are specific to 3.14. Please refer to the release notes of the 3.12 patch releases for information on what tickets were fixed/implemented in the 3.12 patch releases. |
