Message Transport Headers

The 3.12 release of Talon now allows propagation of message bus provider specific header values as generic transport headers on received messages.

• Support for primitive and binary data types.
• Supported in Solace, Kafka, and JMS bindings.

XBUF V2 (Alpha) - Coming Soon

The second version of the X Platform's zero garbage protobuf implementation will be available in alpha form in the 3.12 release:

• Reduced memory footprint (for SR applications).
• Direct serialization / deserialization APIs to improve transferring field values to/from state.

Improvements and Bug Fixes

• It is not possible to use AS in select queries to alias selected columns
• New and improved Talon XVM annotations.
