The Systems Overview allows users that are not configured for "Passive Monitoring" to upload new XAR files (X Application Archives). X Application archives bundle application binaries, configuration, resources, and deployment scripts into a bundle that Lumino can deploy. The set of applications and XVMs included in a XAR file are referred to as a 'System' compromised of applications that share a common release and deployment lifecycle. |
Providing you have permissions, uploading a new XAR is simple: Click the upload button in the Systems Overview and select the XAR file you'd like to upload from your local file system to the currently selected agent.
When the upload completes and the agent has parsed and extracted it, the newly available system will be shown in the overview:
