Welcome to the X Platform!

Neeve Research offers X Platform, an industry first, multi-agent XTP application platform for I/O intensive, extreme message driven applications. Built from the ground up, the platform catalyzes enterprise agility by allowing you to write plumbing free business logic on a platform that seamlessly injects fault tolerance, zero data loss and linear horizontal scalability into your applications without compromising the application's  extreme performance characteristics. The product is being deployed at Tier 1 securities trading and gaming companies with extreme transaction/performance requirements.

The X Platform is comprised of multiple products. Each product caters to a specific architectural/enterprise need and has its own release lifecycle. The following are the various X Platform products:

Core X

Core X is X Platform's core product. At the heart of Core X lies the Talon Project which implements the X Platform's core facilities to build transactional applications. It implements the ability to host, drive and transactionally execute business logic for multi-agent business applications that exhibit extreme performance, availability and scalability characteristics. It is, by far, the fastest and most scalable product in the market that caters to this function. A user would use the Core X product to build multi-agent message-oriented transactional applications.

Eagle

Eagle layers on top of the Core X and caters to service oriented applications with potential long running transactions. Along with the state and message modeling facilities provided by Core X, Eagle provides service modelling capabilities that generate service handler stub implementations allowing developers to quickly focus on writing business logic. Eagle is well suited for web facing applications or applications that interface with more synchronous legacy systems.

Hornet

Hornet (formerly TOA) layers on top of Core X and provide a very lightweight service modeling mechanism appropriate for Topic Oriented Message Type based Routing.. Unlike Eagle service definitions, Hornet service definitions map message types to topics allowing for a rich topic namespace and allow for more complex interaction models. Hornet is well suited to high performance applications that are event based.

Robin

While Core X implements facilities for developers to author transactional applications, Robin implements the facilities to deploy, manage and monitor these applications. Managing a deployment of multi-agent applications can become rather complex very easily. Robin implements the facilities to considerably simplify the deployments of multi-agent applications.

The X Platform documentation is organized as follows:

X Platform Knowledge Base

The X Platform Knowledge Base is comprised of a set of relatively self-contained technical articles. Each article is designed to provide in-depth knowledge of a particular topic of the X Platform product suite.

X Platform Product Documentation

Each product in the X Platform product suite has its own set of documentation. The following links to the various product documentation spaces
